As a child, Ms. Angie Kluth always loved dancing and performing. She began the art of ballroom dancing at the age of 12, when her grandmother took her to a Fred Astaire Dance Studio for her first lesson. It was love at first foxtrot. She trained, danced and performed until she captured the United States Smooth Junior Championship and headed off to UW-Green Bay at the age of 18. After graduating with a degree in Communications and Business Administration, she followed her heart back to the dance floor. Over the past two years, she and her professional dance partner, Russ Larson, have become the Fred Astaire Rising Star Smooth Champions, Chicago Crystal Ball Open Smooth Champions, and they are currently the Regional Undefeated Fred Astaire Open Smooth Champions. Larson and Angie have opened their own Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Menomonee Falls, and look forward passing on their passion and excitement for ballroom dance to staff and students alike.
